Viva zu Gast beim Tainan Festival – Taiwan

Akkordeonistin Marie
Rappolt wurde auch dieses Jahr wieder eingeladen um bei einem
Kultur/Musikfestival in Taiwan teilzunehmen und wird dort Australien
mit ihrer Band “Viva” repräsentieren. Das Festival
dauert über 4 Wochen lang vom 2. Juli bis zum 29. Juli.
Marie war mit ihrer Gruppe bereits beim letzten Festival im August
2004 bei einer Straßenparade, Eröffnungszeremonie des Bürgermeisters,
sowie verschiedenen Konzerten in Taiwan und Fernsehshows, zu Gast.
Im Repertoire von Marie
und ihrer Band findet man einen Mix an Jazz, Swing, Lateinamerikanische
Rhythmen, Musette, Spanische Melodien, Kabarett und klassische Showeinlagen,
was sie bei einem breiten Publikum sehr beliebt macht.
In Sydney ist ihre eigentliches Unterhaltungszentrum, wo sie regelmäßig
im Darling Harbour, Australian Maritime Museum for ‘Discovery
After Dark’, Miss World Ball im Four Points, Sheraton und der
Sydney Royal Oster-Show aufspielen. Bislang haben sie in folgenden
Festivals teilgenommen: Newcastle Jazz Festival, Morpeth Jazz Festival,
Manly International Jazz Festival , Kiama Jazz Festival, Illawarra
Jazz festival, Central Coast Jazz Leagues, Gold Coast Jazz Festival,
Thredbo Jazz Festival und Sydney Olympic Park und Darling Harbour

Petersburg Musette Ensemble publizieren Notenblätter –
Russland

höchst anerkannte Sextett St
Petersburg Musette Ensemble, Gewinner etlicher internationalen
Wettbewerbe, wie zum Beispiel der begehrten Preis „Citta
di Castelfidardo„ in Italien (1999), haben eine große
Anzahl an Musiknoten für Solo, Ensemble und Orchester publiziert.
Es gibt CD’s und Videos von dem Ensemble und Reservierungen
für Masterklassen, Konzerte, Workshops und Vorträge, sowohl
als Sextett oder in anderen Kombinationen können reserviert
werden.
Die Gruppbenmitglieder
des St Petersburg Musette Ensembles sind: Vladimir Ushakov (Pianoakkordeon,
Piano), Svetlana Stavitskaya (Pianoakkordeon, Piano), Sergei Likhachov
(Knopfakkordeon), Vladimir Bogomolov (Gitarre), Vladimir Kurgarov
(Bassgitarre) ud Victor Shafranov (Schlagzeug).

2005 International Accordion Orchestra Competition, Castelfidardo

Der
internationale Akkordeonorchester Wettbewerb 2005 wurde am 27 und
28. Mai in Castelfidardo
durchgeführt. Die Jurymitglieder waren: Vladimir
Zubitsky (Vorsitzender), Alessandro Mugnoz, Rinaldo Strappati,
Claudio Furlan und Paolo

Accordion Concerts – Portugal

A
number of concerts featuring international accordion artistes will take
place at various venues in Portugal during June. The artistes involved
are Berroguetto, a band from Galicia in Spain who feature Santiago Cribeiro
on accordion, Renato Borghetti, a diatonic accordionist from the Forro
tradition of Brazil, and the band La Caravane Passe, from Switzerland.

1st National
Competition and Review, Reggio Emilia – Italy

The
1st National Review Competition and Review takes place at the Villa
of the Mauriziano (birth house of the poet Loduvico Ariosto) on June
9th. This accordion competition is known as ‘Heart and Accordion’,
and proceeds will to the League of the Heart charity. A concert takes
place, from 9pm, and accordionists involved include Fabio Rossato,
Mauro Cart, Paolo Gandolfi, Fisorchestra Luigi Valcavi, artistic direction
Lorenzo Munari.

David
Bowen, professioneller Akkordeonlehrer aus Inverness/Highlands von
Schottland zieht regelmäßig von Nord- bis Süd-,
von Ost- bis Westschottland um zu unterrichten und aufzutreten.
Kürzlich hat er seine neue CD mit dem Titel „On the Spree“
mit Zusammenarbeit von Dennis Morrison am Keyobard und Billy Thom
am Schlagzeug produziert, wo er typische schottische Tanzmusik vorstellt.

Am
7. Juni um 19 Uhr wird der finnische Akkordeonvirtuose Mika Väyrynen
in der Naatali Kirche während des Eröffnungskonzertes
des Naatali Musikfestivals musizieren, welches dem berühmten
finnischen Komponisten Aulis Sallinen, der in diesem Jahr seinen
70. Geburtstag feiert, gewidtmet.
